I am traveling to the Philippines very soon. How do I make sure my meds will stay with me on the flight ?

I have never been on a plane,much less outside of the U.S. I must take several different kinds of medications. I would like to know what steps I should take to ensure that my meds will not be confiscated from me. 2 of the meds are narcotic. I also have to take insulin injections. I’m afraid that my syringes will be taken,because they could be potentially used as weapons. Thank everyone for their response in advance..Keith..

    carry them on your person, and keep the prescription/doctor’s note with you at all times.
